It just takes a few seconds

One day…

He sat down, he saw her and he thought.

It just takes a few seconds to notice that something
in her eyes, that hopes,
that something in her smile.

While she holds her phone she thinks about
the comes and goes of life,
about how love can change your smile.

She calls it love,
me…
I just don’t name it.

The words which I read into my head were, “Nothing last forever”
no matter how she wants to believe,
no matter how much she wants that endless love to be,
however, it’s senseless.

Someday, somehow, as the words which
came through my head, my thought came true,
it didn’t last forever.

She got her heart broken in millions of dreams,
she built card castles and the one who used to
be in the other side of the phone, destroyed everything,

Maybe in other time flow or in other lifetime,
he’ll love her,
much more than I do,
even much more than her ex used to do,
Now…
I’m waiting for my chance.
